Nine episodes and roughly three hundred thousand words of historical webfiction, published across ten months of 2020 and returning here as a weekly serial. Maggie Kelly came from out east looking for a fresh start and ended up worse off; her husband Rían works as a junior constable for the magistrate, which puts him in harm’s way more than she would like.
